TOWN AND REGIONAL PLANNINGPINE PIENAAR (Town and Regional Planner)
Pine is the principal town planner of WRAP and is registered as a Professional Town Planner in terms of the Planning Professions Act 36 of 2002 and is also registered with the South African Council for Planners (SACPLAN), since 1985. Pine is a Corporate Member of the South African Planning Institute (SAPI).
Pine's career includes positions in provincial and local government and he was the Chief Town Planner of Springs Municipality from 1975 to 1990.
Before joining WRAP, Pine was Executive Partner of Pine Pienaar Kratz and Partner, a town planning practice dealing with the establishment of large townships, hundreds of rezoning, subdivision, consolidation and consent use applications, as well as the drafting of master plans for development areas.
REATLEHILE JANKIE (Town and Regional Planner)
Reatlehile holds a National Diploma in Town and Regional Planning from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT), a Higher Certificate in Business Principles and Practice from Rosebank College and a Bachelor of Technology in Public Relations Management from CPUT. Reatlehile is registered as a Candidate Town Planner in terms of the Planning Professions Act 36 of 2002 with the South African Council for Planners (SACPLAN).
Before joining WRAP, Reatlehile held positions in the provincial government and private sector which included an Intern Town and Regional Planner position at the Western Cape Department of Environmental Affairs and Development Planning, English Teacher at Pangea and worked with Urban Econ on projects that involved economic planning, economic techniques, project implementation, enterprise development, policy and strategy development, surveys, market research, development funding and business plans. Industries he worked in includes agriculture, agro processing, mining benefication, manufacturing, infrastructure and services, energy, property, tourism, green economy and innovation.
