FRONT-END LOADING PHASE
During the Front-End loading phases of projects, after completion of the Business Planning and feasibility of the project we prepare and submit applications for Rezoning and Subdivision for new developments (urban and agricultural land), Consent use (guest houses, restaurants, tourist facilities, breweries, wineries), Removal of restrictive title deed conditions and the relaxation of building lines.
During the Execution phases of projects, we provide project management services for the full Execution Phase which includes Planning for Execution, Procurement, Execution, Contract Management and Close-Out of projects.
Licencing & Permits
WRAP also obtains licences and permits required for operation and submit and manage applications for liquor licences which include On-consumption (restaurants and pubs), Off-consumption (wine shops, bottle stores) and Micro-manufacturing (wine cellars, breweries, distilleries).

Project Development Cycle
WRAP provides all the services in the Project Development Cycle and include Pre-feasibility and Business Planning, Development Scoping and Feasibility, Project Development and Definition, Execution (Implementation) and Close out.
WRAP’s members are accredited by Project Management South Africa (PMSA) and the South African Council for Planners (SACPLAN).

Chief Executive Officer
Richard is WRAP’s Chief Executive Officer and is a qualified development consultant and project manager with a demonstrated history of working in the property development environment and industry. He started his career in local government gaining extensive knowledge of local government processes and legislation. Richard left local government in 2002 and founded WRAP, a Property Development Consultancy based in Hermanus, Western Cape and for the first years attended to and managed the front-end-loading stages of development projects, but now attending to all stages of the development cycle.
He is proficient in pre-feasibility and business planning, scoping and feasibility, project development and definition and managing the transition of projects to execution and operation. He holds a bachelor’s degree of Law from University of South Africa (Unisa), Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management from the University of Stellenbosch (US) and Post Graduate Certificate in Local Government Management from the University of Johannesburg (UJ, previously RAU).

Administrative- and Financial Manager
Salomé is the administrative- and financial manager of WRAP. She also acts as project administrator providing supporting project management services. Salomé holds certificates in Project Management Principles and Practices and Fundamentals of Business Finance from the University of Stellenbosch Business School (USB).
REATLEHILE (REA) JANKIE
Rea is a registered Town Planner with the South African Council for Planners (SACPLAN) and is responsible for the design of new residential, commercial and industrial layouts and the drafting and preparation of land use applications submitted to Local Authorities, Heritage Authorities and State Departments, including the Department of Agriculture.
He holds a National Diploma in Town-and Regional Planning, a Bachelor of Technology in Public Relations Management from Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) as well as a Higher Certificate in Business Principles and Practice from Rosebank College. Rea will complete his Bachelor’s in City Planning (Honours) at the University of Cape Town (UCT) at the end of 2019.
